Ms. Tuba
Golcuklu is a
Partner with the
firm. She is a
decorated
visionary and
also a venture
investor holding
majority stake
in certain new
media and e-commerce
concerns.
Ms.
Golcuklu started
her career in
1992 at Arthur
Andersen
Worldwide (now
merged with
Ernst & Young)
and worked as a
Business
Advisory and
later Corporate
Finance
professional at
its Ankara and
Istanbul Offices.
In 1997, she
joined Turk
Ekonomi Bank as
head of
financial
planning and
later was
appointed as the
Chief Financial
Officer of BNP
Paribas /TEB
Financial
Holdings Inc. in
Istanbul and a
permanent member
of the Asset/Liability
Committee and
M&A Task Board.
In 2001, she
left BNP Paribas
/TEB to continue
her education in
the United
States at
Carnegie Mellon
University in
Pittsburgh. Ms.
Golcuklu advised
on a formal
basis a number
of local
businesses in
the Greater
Pittsburgh area.
Her direct
involvement in a
renewable energy
venture project
(corn based
ethanol) won her
the 2003
Manufacturing
Entrepreneur of
the Year Award
and later praise
from Hon. Ed
Rendell, the
Governor of
State of
Pennsylvania.
She joined
Accord Atlantic
in the summer of
2004 and has
been a key
member of the
team ever since.
She
brings in a
wealth of
knowledge and
experience in
debt financing
models,
financial
modeling,
entrepreneurship
fundamentals,
marketing and
product
strategies,
business
modeling and e-commerce
as well as a
network of
academia
notables. Ms.
Golcuklu
received honors
from TOBB (Turkish
Union of
Chambers and
Exchanges) in
2008 and won the
Woman
Entrepreneur of
the Year Award
the same year.
Ms. Golcuklu
holds an MBA
with honors from
Tepper School of
Business of
Carnegie Mellon
University,
Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania,
USA. She
attended the
American Academy,
the junior
college, and
later Ortadogu
Teknik
University in
Ankara where she
received a B.Sc.
degree in
Business
Administration
with honors.
