“THE US ALTERNATIVE FOR GROWTH”

AA is an independent regional service provider for OPIC, Overseas Private Investment Corporation, an independent U.S. government agency, serving investors from the United States and the Region since 2008. AA offer full scope advisory and placement services from financing application through post-transaction support and compliance in both financing and political risk insurance. The investment team’s experience with major unilateral or multilateral agencies such as OPIC goes back years and was acquired in various capacities.

OPIC’s mission is to mobilize and facilitate the participation of U.S. private capital and skills in the economic and social development of less developed countries and areas, and countries in transition from nonmarket to market economies. OPIC assists U.S. companies by providing financing (from large structured finance to small business loans), political risk insurance, and investment funds. OPIC complements the private sector in managing risks associated with foreign direct investment and supports U.S. foreign policy. OPIC was established as an agency of the U.S. government in 1971 and currently does business in over 150 countries.

EDN (Enterprise Development Network) is a strategic alliance among public and private sector organizations that was established with the assistance of OPIC. Through a growing network of organizations around the world, EDN is designed to bring together the vast resources essential to attract capital (debt & equity) and political risk insurance for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) pursuing business opportunities in developing countries. To help meet these needs, EDN increases access to OPIC products and services through a network of financial institutions, business consultants, associations, law firms and regional investment promotion agencies. EDN will also help SMEs by offering a more efficient, cost-effective delivery of services through EDN service providers.
